Why I Won Bauchi Senatorial Seat – Wakili

The winner of the Bauchi South senatorial district election and a custom pensioner, Mr. Ali Wakili, has attributed his victory to the unfortunate failure of Governor Isa Yuguda to provide the needed democratic dividends to the entire state, throughout his eight years in office.

Wakili emerged victorious by polling 341,708 votes, while Yuguda had 115,575 votes.

The senator-elect added that his victory also summarises his connection and link with the people of Bauchi State, explaining that Yuguda has been disconnected totally from his people.
