Everton are reportedly looking to sign Barcelona duo Adama Traore and Sergi Roberto on permanent deals this summer.
The Premier League outfit have struggled this season and they are in serious danger of being relegated to the Championship if they do not turn around a run of five games without a win.
It has been a stark contrast for manager Roberto Martinez, who guided Everton to their highest-ever points tally in the top-flight last campaign, and the pressure is really on the Spaniard to deliver.
Survival is the key for the Toffees this season but the focus is already turning towards two players they feel could improve the strength of the squad this summer.
Roberto has been capped 14 times at U-21 level for Spain and the midfielder has managed to break into the first-team this year for Barcelona, with seven appearances made to date for the Catalans. The 23-year-old is a good, technical player and the more youthful option in the centre of the park, to play alongside the likes of Ross Barkley, is one that could appeal to Everton.
