Roger Federer admits that he would love to win Wimbledon once more before hanging up his racket and feels he could still do it.
The 33-year-old last won at the All England Club in 2012 when he beat Britain’s Andy Murray in the final to claim his seventh Wimbledon title. That was his last triumph in any of the big-four events as the likes of Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal began to dominate the Grand Slam scene.
But the Swiss ace remains competitive despite his advancing years and beat the Serbian world number one in a recent final in Dubai.
There has been much speculation as to when the 17-time Grand Slam winner will call it a day but he has shown no signs of quitting just yet.
And, as he prepares for yet another tilt at major glory this summer, the Basel-born legend confessed to having an inner desire to lift the famous trophy once more on centre court and is not ruling it out.
