Enyimba International midfielder, Kingsley Bobby Sokari, is currently using his performances to push for a spot in Nigeria squad for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
It was learnt that the 19-year-old has so far impressed the coaches with his clever play in the middle and has move up a notch ahead of other midfielders.
“Sokari is doing extremely well in camp. From day one his performances have been consistent. We are all impressed with his attitude as well,” a team source said.
Sokari’s fine form is bad news for Abdullahi Alfa with both players presently battling for same spot which represents the vacuum created by ObinnaNwobodo’s injury-enforced absence.
“The fact that Nwobodo is not here with us due to injury has thrown up an interesting battle between Sokari and Alfa, and Alfa isn’t doing too bad but at the moment Sokari is better.”
