Due to the announcement of the National Examination Council (NECO) yesterday for final year students in secondary schools to resume, parents took to social media to suggest ways at which exams should be conducted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Parents were of the opinion that the questions should be objectives just as JAMB questions are been set, this will enable computer based and the level of examination malpractices can be curtailed.
Similarly they where also of the opinion that since schools are not in section there are enough classrooms that will help space students like ten in each class room this will also enable invigilators monitor the process of the examination without stress.
Some welcomed the news and said its a good development but all sss3 students should adhere strictly to directives on physical distancing, wearing of face masks, washing of hands with soap and water finally use of sanitizers.
They are of the opinion also the education sector should gradually easing of the lockdown.
Others who frowned at the development advised that NECO should be scraped from the Nigeria educational sector and that NECO isn’t superior to the Federal Ministry Of Education.
Time tables also should be made possible and also it should be mapped out in a way that students don’t stay long in examination hall.
