The Chairman of the House of Representatives ad hoc committee probing the N6 trillion pension funds and the activities of the Pension Commission from 2017-till date, Rep. Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma has resigned.
He announced his steeping down as chairman of the House ad hoc committee on Thursday at the commencement of the investigative hearing attended by officials of the Central Bank, office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, accountant general of the federation and pension fund administrators as well as pension funds managers.
Rep. Agbonayinma while resigning accused a House member, Reo. Wole Oke and PENCOM of blackmail and subverting the work of the committee.
