He called on the people to shun all forms of sentiments and vote wisely for the right candidates who would in turn deliver the dividends of democracy.

“I am only using this medium to appeal to the good people of Ojo to come out Saturday to vote massively for me and my colleagues in PDP as we are not going to disappoint them.”

Salami hinted it was only credible election that will re-enforce people’s confidence in the electoral process therefore appealing to all the parties participating in the election to keep to the rules of the electoral exercise and work with Lagos State Independent Electoral Committee for the success of the election.

He, however, recalled that the two members of the party, who are currently serving in House of Representatives – Hon. Tajudeen Obasa and Hon. Victor Akande in the State House of Assembly have kept faith with the people through various empowerment programmes they had implemented since they came into office.

He stressed that there was a ray of hope for the people in Ojo constituency if Peoples Democratic Party wins the Local Government Election in all the three Local Government areas.
