The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reclaimed the three House of Representatives seats and the Senate seat in Ondo South, with Ese-Odo, the local government of the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta, Hon. Kingsley Kuku, delivering about 20,000 votes ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was a rescue mission for the PDP as the seats were lost to the Labour Party in 2011.
The PDP also won in Kuku’s RCM Primary School, Arogbo unit in Ese-Odo Local Government Area with 372 votes while the APC scored 56. Ondo State APC chairman, Isaac Kekemeke, hails from the Arogbo ward but lost in his unit where the PDP had 94 votes to the APC’s 70.
