The General Overseer of the Christ Apostolic Church, [CAC], also known as Odi Ajaye, has called on well-meaning Nigerians to join the church in praying for the peaceful co-existence of Nigeria and the general election.
Pastor Shola Ojo, told reporters, on Tuesday, at the church’s headquarters, in Lagos, that: “The love for one’s country is also part of faith, because Nigeria is our own Jerusalem.
“We are organising a prayer session tagged: ‘Nigeria Must Not Sink or Fall’. We are doing it because we have nowhere else called home, other than Nigeria. We must all come together to pray for the peaceful co-existence of this country, because Nigeria must not sink or fall.”
He added that: “An average Nigerian is suffering; we don’t enjoy electricity for 24 hours; provocative words that could triggered off war are coming, profusely, from the politicians. We need to come together and pray to avert calamity.
