An House of Assembly aspirant from Ogun West senatorial district of the State, Hon Kola Lameed Muyideen has called on Elders from Yewa Awori zone of the State to remain resolute in the bid of making an Ogun West Indigene Governor come 2019.
He also charged them not to be used as instruments of division by political gladiators who may not be sincere with the Yewa/Awori agenda.
Kola Lameed made the call while speaking with news men in Ota during empowerment for some youths from Yewa Awori area of the State.
He noted that Ogun West has been marginalized and deprived of necessary social amenities and basic infrastructures since the return of the country to democracy in 1999.
Mr. Kola Lameed Muyideen who is a communication expert berated the action of some elders as political parasite whose action is aimed at affecting the bright chances of Ogun West to produce governor for the first time.
He also lamented that present eight years of Ibukunle Amosun led administration has impoverish the people of the area the more without any achievement to show for it.
Mr. Muyideen said the people in Ogun West deserve more than newly created Ogun State Polytechnic in Ipokia Local Government which the governor is seen as Laudable development particularly when there is no motorable road in the axis.
He therefore advised all elders who wanted t to create political crisis in the zone all because of their selfish interest to first think about backwardness created by the present and past government before making any moves that may jeopardize the chance of the zone to produce governor in 2019.
