Adams Oshiomhole, former chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) said on sunday that Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state is not a threat to his party.
Oshiomhole made this known during an interview on Channelstv when asked on the effect of the popularity of the governor on his party.
He stated, “How can he be a threat? A man who is not even eligible to contest elections? How can a snail be a threat in a race where tigers are involved?”
Moreover, the former chairman emphatically noted his confidence on the ability of Pastor Osagie Ize- Iyamu , the APC gubernatorial candidate, to win the incoming state election.
DailyTimes reports that the Edo state election will take place in September 19, 2020.
