FCTA to support foreign missions in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT), administration in Abuja, will continue to support foreign missions in the country to construct their embassies and residences at the nation’s capital.
FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, gave this assurance, while receiving the Ambassador of Republic of Japan to Nigeria, Mr. Ryuichi Shoji, who was on a working visit to his office, in Abuja, last weekend.
Senator Mohammed revealed that his administration would continue to encourage embassies in the country to develop their plots of land in Abuja to enable them relocate and settle down to perform their statutory roles to foster bilateral relations with Nigeria.
“The Federal Government under President Goodluck Jonathan cherishes the support and collaboration of the members of the diplomatic community in the country and would do everything possible to make their stay more comfortable,” the Minister emphasised.
