He said the support by the U.S. is not only for Adamawa, but the entire north-east of the country devastated by insurgency attacks.

The ambassador added that the U.S. Agency for International Development was engaged in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the IDPs in the north-east part of the country.

According to him, what was before the government and the international donor agencies was a big challenge of reconstruction and rehabilitation, creating environment so that the victims of insurgency could go back home.
He commended the Adamawa Peace Initiative for living up to the expectations of the public.

Nggilari thanked Entwistle for visiting the IDPs to see things for himself and commended international donor agencies for the support.
