Gov. Bello gives quit notice to drug dealers

Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has given quit notice to drug dealers and peddlers to relocate from the state or be prepared to face his wrath.

Giving the order in Sarkin Pawa, Munya Local Government Area of the state following reports of increasing wave of drug induced and unruly behaviours among youth in the state, the peddlers are agents of destruction, hence, their presence is not needed in the state.

He stated, “I am by this giving them quit notice from the state. Failure to pack out of the state, they should be ready to face the full wrought of the law.”

According to him, the reports reaching him and the terrible experience he had with some of the youth, most of whom that are operating under the influence of drug calls for urgent and decisive attention.

“We are declaring total war against drug dealers and peddlers in the state. They are agents of destruction. We don’t want them and they are not allowed in Niger State.”

He also warned politicians to desist from using the youth for thuggery and other violent acts, and afterward dump them, vowing to deal with any linked as sponsor to any lawlessness by youths in the state.
