The immediate past senator representing Ogun Central, Mr. Olugbenga Obadara, has lamented the level of poverty and hardship plaguing the residents of the state, vowing to assist in liberating them from the monster.
Obadara, in a release issued in Abeokuta, and made available to newsmen, vowed to press the development of the state and the liberation of the citizenry with great vigour, even when confronted with setbacks, because Ogun State cannot afford to take the back seat after the enduring foundation laid down for us by our founding fathers.
Obadara maintained that, “Our founding fathers laid a strong foundation which some of us have religiously emulated. I want to urge leaders at all levels to further put into consideration, the plight of the masses; many of whom are struggling to live above poverty level”.
On the new radio station named Sweet 107.1fm which he established, Obadara explained that “I took the initiative to situate Sweet 107.1fm in the district as a way of giving back to the people who believe so much in me and have stayed by me over the years.”
