The State Government and the Lagos State Police Command have been called upon to investigate the killing of a footballer, Sylvester Chinwokwu in the Ketu Alapere area of Lagos.
Mother of the deceased, Mrs. Bridget Chinwokwu, a native of Ubulu-Uku, Delta State made the call saying the killers of her son should be brought to justice.
It was gathered that the late Chiwokwu was shot dead at the Alapere area of Ketu, Lagos while on a commercial motorcycle (Okada).
Speaking on how her son was killed, Mrs. Chiwokwu said although she was not present when her son was killed, she was only informed of the incident by an elderly man.
She said, “An elderly man told me that when my son was on Okada, he was shot in the hand, he fell down and as he was struggling to stand up, one of the gun men who were in a Toyota Camry car ordered him not to stand up or be shot dead”.
