Milo Basketball: Adamawa, Kogi in good start at Confluence Conference

Determination, dedication and team work are some of key words by the sole sponsor of Nestle Milo when the Milo Championship started 18years ago and all these attributes were evident as the girls took the centre stage first at the Confluence Conference in Lokoja.
The Confluence defending champion in the Girls Category, Government Secondary School Numan, Adamawa State had the first outing against Girls High School Gindiri, Plateau State.
The Adamawa team used experience, team cohesion and confidence to outscore Girls High School, Plateau State by 32-11 points, while host, Harmony Secondary School Lokoja defeated Govt Girls Unity Secondary School, Graham, Jigawa State by 27-09.
In the Boys’ cadre, Kogi State representative, Crothe Memorial College Lokoja out-dunked Ahmadiyah College Kano 44-28 points, while Cocin Comprehensive College Gindiri, Plateau State defeated Giwo Science Academy, BauchI State by 50-14 points.
Also, General Muritala Muhammad College Yola, Adamawa State out-dunked Darusalam Science & Academy Maiduguri, Borno State with 53-25 points.
