The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the premier Chamber of Commerce and one of the leading voices in the organised private sector (OPS) in Nigeria, has announced its readiness to hold a taxation roundtable aimed at sensitizing corporate firms and business owners on key tax related issues that affect business operations.
The business event, according to the organisers, is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 7th June, 2016 at the LCCI Conference and Exhibition centre, 10 Nurudeen Olowopopo Street, behind MKO Abiola Gardens, Alausa, Ikeja by 10am.
Muda Yusuf, Director General of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) said: “Government at all levels are currently faced with severe revenue challenges as a result of the sharp drop in oil price. This development has increased the focus of the government on taxation. It has therefore become necessary to educate and enlighten business owners on how to respond to these emerging developments.”
“This platform will enable various stakeholders to deliberate on key aspects of taxation, compliance and related issues. It will also allow participants share perspectives on the current status
