Lagos State House of Assembly has unveiled its E-presence through which its activities would be expose to global attention. The unveiling event which had civil society organisations and media representatives in attendance took place at the Lateef Jakande Auditorium of the Assembly complex. The occasion was part of the activities lined up to mark the first anniversary of the Lagos 8th Assembly.
The Speaker of the House, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, said that the House had remain a trail blazer and occupied leadership role among the State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria through its distinguished legislative activities.
Rolling out the achievements of the current Assembly, in the last 12 months, the Majority Leader, Hon. S.O.B. Agunbiade, said that the 40-member House had, through dedication to duties, hardwork and commitment to legislative assignments remained the envy of other Houses of Assembly. He disclosed that the House had passed seven bills and 78 resolutions so far in just one year of the current Assembly.
