The Academic and Non-Academic staff of the Kwara College of Arabic and lslamic Legal Studies, llorin, on Wednesday, began a three-day warning strike over unpaid 10 months’ salary.
The Daily Times correspondent who was at college premises on Wednesday reported that all classrooms, library and offices were locked.
The commencement of the three day-warning strike led to a peaceful protest by hundreds of students, were supposed to begin the second semester examination on Wednesday.
A team of policemen drove into the college campus where the protest was taking place at about midday to prevent the protest.
Some of the students who refused to comply were arrested and taken away by the police.
