Mr. Ibrahim reinstated this on Sunday while fielding questions from journalists at his Igbotako residence in Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state.
The Daily Times reported that thousands of crowded supporters of Mr. Ibrahim had trooped out in a warm reception to welcome home the business mogul.
Speaking, Mr. Ibrahim said he was fully prepared for the governorship election adding that judging by his acceptance by the people he remained unbeatable in the contest.
He described the success recorded in all the court cases so far as triumph against Governor Mimiko and members of his default Labour Party in the state.
He disclosed that the forthcoming governorship contest in the state would also be judge by his popularity among the main gladiators jostling to the Alagbaka government house seat of state power.
Mr. Ibrahim explained that he was more brilliant in politics than Governor Olusegun Mimiko hence his good chances of winning the court cases filed against his candidature as flag bearer of the PDP
He also disclosed that Mr. Eyitayo Jegede was only known in the state as a former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General in the ruling government of Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
He added that his (Jegede) candidature was strange to the authentic members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but real to the Labour Party (LP) in the state.
Mr. Ibrahim alleged that Governor Mimiko was behind the misfortune of Mr. Jegede for losing out on the final candidate list released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the poll.
He denied that he had exited the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Accord Party (AP) due to irreconcilable differences between him and Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
Mr. Ibrahim his investment in the PDP reinforce his aspiration to contest again in the party for the governorship election of the state.
The substituted governorship candidate said he was now prepared to launch fully his governorship campaign ahead of the November 26th contest in the state.
The PDP factional state chairman, Biyi Poroye, said the Ali Modu Sheriff led group state are the authentic members of the party in the state.
Mr. Poroye revealed that Jimoh Ibrahim’s name has been affirmed by the judgment of Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court Abuja as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo state.
He stated that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would however slug it out with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in the November poll and win convincingly.
