The play-off matches of the 2016 male Federation Cup competition will take place on Saturday and Sunday across the country, a Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) official said on Thursday.
Emmanuel Adesanya, Head of NFF’s Federation Cup Unit, told newsmen in Abuja that 20 clubs would participate in the competition’s play-off round.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the round involves the competition’s rookies, usually the non-league clubs, which have qualified for the national finals.
They had qualified by virtue of reaching the final of the competition in the various states.
