The Enyimba captain said, he his unfazed by comments credited to Heartland skipper, Chinedu Efugh, ahead of the derby in which he promised that they will bring their “whole weight” to bear against the Peoples Elephant.
The former FC Abuja man acknowledged that the derby is expected to keenly contested, but believes that the Aba club are good enough to claim the full points.
The derby is the 25th between the two sides since the premier league era in 2003. Enyimba have won 11 to Heartland’s six while the other fixtures have ended in draws.
Last season in this same fixture, Enyimba emerged two-nil winners with goals from Chinonso Okonkwo and Christian Obiozor.
