Ejidike delighted with Karate inclusion in Olympics

The Nigeria Pillar of sports and President of Karate Federation of Nigeria (KFN), Chief Donatus N. Agu-Ejidike, has congratulated the world karate family in general and Nigeria in particular for the inclusion of the sport in the Olympics.
Ejidike therefore called on government agencies, corporate organizations and philanthropists to invest in karate as the federation is ready to partner with anyone to make life better in Nigeria through sports.
He also urged athletes and coaches to take advantage of this new development not only to improve their performances, but to develop more skills that could earn them more laurels in local and international championships.
“As the President of Karate Federation in Nigeria, I want to reiterate the Federation’s determination to make Karate sport more popular and more interesting in Nigeria.
“Regular competitions is now needed, particularly making it part of school curriculum to enhance the participation of schools in the sport and learning of the rudiments at the grassroots level to catch them young, “ Ejidike said.
