Crisis seems to be looming at Paris Saint-Germain as the club appeared to have failed in a bid to resolve the issue of penalty taking.

Report in Paris suggest Edison rejected a €1m bonus offer from the club to relinquish penalty taking responsibilities to new signing Neymar.

Cavani, who is the one saddled with the responsibility before the arrival of the Brazil international, rejected the ‘bribe’ and insisted he will continue taking penalty till the end of the season.

Last week, there was argument between the world record signing and Cavani over who to take a penalty in the 2-0 win over Lyon.

Cavani finally took the kick and lost it.

The 30-year-old has scored 95 goals in 140 league games for PSG since 2013.

PSG boss Unai Emery said – “I think that they are capable of doing that and that they will both be our kickers. If they cannot reach an agreement, I will decide for them.”
