Arewa urges Kwankwaso‎ to support mile 12 relocation

Executives of the Arewa community in Lagos State have called on former Kano state governor, and current serving Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to liaise with the Lagos state government and rescind his earlier statement asking governor Akinwunmi ambode to reverse the relocation of the mile 12 market.

The Arewa community at an emergency meeting earlier today at the Arewa house disclosed that the distinguished senator has been misinformed during his earlier visit to the market by the leadership of the mile 12 market led by  Alhaji Haruna Mohammed who is presently embroiled in a leadership tussle in the market.

The group however restated their total commitment and support to the Lagos state government in the development of the new befitting ultra modern market at Imota which is hoped to be of international standard for agricultural products.

The Arewa group however thanked the Lagos state governor for his giant strides in the development of Lagos state.

They further assured the people of Lagos that they will continue to work assiduously in ensuring that the world class market Is attained.
