The Zik Prize Award given to Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari is a well deserved award, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahmad Kabiru Abdullahi has said.
Abdullahi said Masari’s performance and good governance in Katsina State is outstanding, adding that the transformation in education, health and the transport sectors is laudable.
“The award given to Masari was based on merit and it is beneficial to the people of Katsina State. When he was Speaker, House of Representatives he proved to the world that he is a leader. Masari is a leader with vision. His good governance style is outstanding,” Abdullahi said.
“Masari is always in the news because of his achievements. Masari has upgraded the government hospitals and equipped them with modern facilities and they are now serving as hospitals where people from the entire North West are trooping into for medical attention.
It is second to none, general hospitals and primary health care, his huge investment in the educational sector is unprecedented with the overhauling of over 2000 schools across the state which have all been transform.
“Masari has constructed more than 500 km rural and urban roads in Katsina State. He brought companies to invest in the state.
On security, Masari knows how to manage the security situation so that people can go about their businesses,” Abdullahi said while urging the people of the state to support the governor for more dividend of democracy.
