Anambra Can’t Be Handed Over To Politicians Without Managerial Skill- Umeh.

The Director-General of Governor Willie Obiano Campaign Organisation for November 18, 2017, governorship election in Anambra State, Chief Victor Umeh, has said the state will not be handed over to people who do not have the administrative acumen and requisite experience to run it.

Umeh, who spoke in a recent public function in Awka, said people should ignore politicians who lack the managerial ability to administer a state like Anambra.

He said they should rather queue behind the incumbent governor who he said, has the required credentials to tackle the problems confronting the state.

The immediate past chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) described Governor Obiano as a God sent leader who within three years in office warmed his way into the heart of the people of the State through his superlative performance in virtually all the sectors.

The APGA chieftain said due to the performance of Governor Obiano, he deserved not only a second term, but a united front to enable him to consolidate on the gains of his administration, noting that no amount of blackmail on the Governor can deter him from continuing in his good works.

Umeh said, “The grace that was available for the former Governor of the State, Mr. Peter Obi ( from Anambra Central) to do eight years, that same grace, shall be available to Governor Willie Obiano (Anambra North) and he will do eight years”

On his part, the Senior Special Adviser on Special Duties to the Governor, Mr. Primus Odili, who is also the Secretary, Obiano Campaign Organisation, thanked the Governor for his generosity and foresight in leading the State.

He said that APGA remains the only party in Anambra State with genuine concern for citizens’ welfare and urged the people of State to eschew rancour but to continue in their unalloyed support for the present administration in the state as more development awaits them.

He advised politicians in APGA and within the Government to be rather concerned about working for the success of the current administration as Obiano’s second term agenda was not negotiable.
