Nigeria came from two sets down to defeat Cameroun in their opening game of the Africa u-19 nations cup in Abuja.
The Cameroonians paced to a early lead and took the first game 25-21.
The second set ended in a similar fashion, this time the home side was two points short it ended 25-23.
Then the turn around begun in the third set with the home team playing their neighbors with the same coin it ended 23 -25.
The defending champions showed their mettle in the fourth game to level the score at two-all after winning the third game 25-20.
The home side cruised on to win the decider 15-9.
The action continues on Friday, Gambia will face morocco in the boys’ games while in the women’s event Cameroun and Nigeria rekindle their rivalry.
