Diamond School of protocol and Etiquette (DSPE) has labelled desire by youths of the next generation as a catalyst for change in a developing market.
This charged was made by the Principal Consultant of DSPE Chioma Okoye at the School’s Next Generation Conference for the year themed: ‘Next Generation Youth: As Catalyst for Change in a Developing Market.
“As youths, you need to step up your desire to be skewed up by the desire, you must be determined to be able to meet the social needs through your social skills and polish” Chioma said
The visionary added that DSPE has its aim to fulfil the Gap between Education and realty market for fresh Graduates and Nigerian youths in general.
Speaking at the 2019 conference, Managing Director, Hydraulics Solution Engineering Limited Godwin Osuji-Bells, says that focus and vision is the key to actualizing desire.
He added that youth should not be money driven at the early stages of life but trade the path of their desires, “This Generation has been brought up with the orientation of getting rich quick which shouldn’t be.
“Every opportunity is a good one for growth, but focusing on the immediate gain will affect your integrity”, Godwin said.
Also charging the youths, A life coach and mentor Patrick Udumma of Icren Service Limited as that development is based on the thought process of the developer, “If you think right you will end up right and your thoughts will create your perspective.”
Udumma laid emphasis on holding on to a vision and self-service as a good quality to development, he stressed that the outcome of a work done is a gift and not the business of the one working.
“The quality of your life is dependent on the quality of your choice, a goal driven man should not complain but be focused on self-discipline, self-control and self-mastery”, he added
Speaking further on a developing market Marketing Management Consultant Dennis Isiakpona charged youths to be self-focused and not be carried away by the social media hype.
“Information is not as powerful as its application, so use the social media to sell your accrued value and not to while away time”, Dennis said.
