The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow in a Public Presentation of a book on performance based politics held at the Banquet Hall of the government house in Yola said that his work will speak for him come 2019.
The book which was authored by Dr Agoso Bamayyi ,SSA on strategy to the Governor has chronicles the performance of Bindow,rated him high in physical infrastructures, unravelling his silence achievements in his two years as a Governor of the state.
According to him transparency is part of his policy in delivering the mandate entrusted to him by the people of the state, he therefore stressed that the state government is to host Anti- Corruption Summit.
Explaining that summit will be one of its kind as President Muhammadu Buhari will be in attendance to witness the summit.
Jibrilla also call on the people of the state to build bridges of love and peace in supporting the present administration to consolidate on the existing development.
Bindow while calling on unity from all people,he disclosed that workers in the state will also receive their December salary by Tuesday as part of policy of the present administration effort to improve on the plight of its citizens.
In a remark, Deputy Governor Martins Babale commended the writer of the book and described the governor as has laid the foundation for transformation of the state.
Secretary to the state government, Doctor Umar Buba Bindir, said the initiative to write the book began about two years ago and expressed appreciation that it has seen the light of the day.
He said the book also appraise the performance of the present administration in the task of transforming the state.
Head of Service, Doctor Louis Mandama said Governor Jibrilla has performed very well and disclosed that light and water problem in the state Secretariat will be a thing of the past considering current changes in the state Secretariat.
Reviewing the book before presenting it to the public, Senator Jonathan Zwingina said the book is a fifty two page analysis of the present administration that captured developmental stride of the present administration.
He however told the writer to look at other critical areas in the review of the book.
