2019: Aspirant says intelligence failure, causes insecurity

A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nassarawa State and former Federal Permanent Secretary, Dauda Kigbo has attributed insecurity in the country to the failure of intelligence, advocating the use of traditional peace building.

Kigbo, speaking with newsmen after obtaining his nomination and expression of interest forms at the party secretariat in Abuja on Monday said the era when traditional rulers are not recognized in the affairs of their communities will be eliminated in Nasarawa State during his regime as Governor.

He said as a student of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), he was aware of several researches conducted by the institute on peace building.
